Family Room

Ok-Lots of people have been asking for pictures of the house.  Here is the 1st.  There is still so much to do.  This room still need curtains and has an entire wall that has NOTHING on it.  So just keep in mind, this is a work in progress. (As my house usually is)

The Deck & Garage additions

Here is the deck after we had it extended. 

And here is a picture of the garage loft.  Anyone wondering what I am going to do while Ivie is in school all day?  There is still nothing up on the loft.  The deck is still not stained.  Need I say more??

Use your imagination

Ok-you need to use your imagination here a bit.  They are going to finish the painting tomorrow, so that will look tons better, and the countertops are covered to not get the paint, SO I took a picture of the backsplash behind the sink so you can see what the counters will look like. 

There will be an island in the middle here.

Dad-this is the little nook off the kitchen area.  Turn left and you are on the deck, turn right and you are in the garage.

We have a Yard!!

One of the things we really liked about building here is that they do the landscaping for you.  You will notice on the back of the house by the deck, there is no grass.  After we close, the guy is coming back and will extend the deck by about 10 feet so we left that area bare for now.

Drywall

It is fun to see the rooms take shape.  To get a better feel of the size of the rooms and all the wallspace I will get to decorate :).  Some of these pics are hard to make out, but I put them up especially for my dad to see.

No more Yellow!!!

I'm loving it.  The outside is moving right along, and tomorrow we have our pre-drywall meeting.  We will be moving in before we know it.  Hopefully!!!

Our house will NOT be yellow

So here is the latest update.  And NO the house will not stay yellow.  This is hardi-board that will be painted.  There will be rock where you see no siding.

Progress

This is what the house looked like last Thursday, the 4th.  It has changed a ton since these pictures, but I will put these on here to show it last week.

This is what the house looked like yesterday. The framing is pretty much complete.  The house should be completely under roof by Tuesday.  I cant get over how fast things changed from Tuesday to Saturday!!

Walls

Exciting things are happening quickly!! They were still working when I went by this afternoon, so I am sure I will have more pictures tomorrow.

This is the rear of the house.  They still need to frame the garage.

While we were there, they started putting the walls up on the second floor.
